A Morning Stroll with the Birds

May 9 @ 8:00 am - 11:00 am

Adam Timpf, biologist and Director on the LPBLT Board, will lead a morning walk at Spring Arbour Farm Nature Reserve. Bring your binoculars, as we will be looking for returning birds including Eastern Towhees, Baltimore Orioles, Indigo Buntings, and a variety of spring migrant warblers. Learn about the wide variety of feeding and nesting habits of the different species.

Once the home of the organic farm, Spring Arbour Farm provided families with fruit and vegetables through its Community Supported Agriculture program. Today, the open areas of the nature reserve offer great opportunities to spot birds on their migratory journey.
