– Registration is required
– Registration opens one more in advance for each event
– Remember to bring what you need to enjoy your time outdoors – water bottle, hiking boots, sunscreen, bug spray, snacks, etc.

Join Mary Gartshore, naturalist and restoration specialist, as she leads a walk while sharing a wealth of information about wildflowers. Shirley and George Pond Nature Reserve features extensive ecological restoration areas as part of the meadows on the property, that will be highlighted throughout the walk.
Learn about Brown-eyed Susan, Virginia Mountain Mint, Wild Bergamot and Common Milkweed as well as many other native wildflowers that are beneficial to pollinators and birds. Mary will also share a few tips on seed collection.
