This special update highlights recent conservation efforts in the Long Point Basin which are helping to protect and recover populations of native turtles and snakes. As we mark the United Nations’ International Year of Biodiversity, it seems a fitting time to recognize work being undertaken by the Land Trust and a throng of volunteers to appreciate and conserve our region’s native reptiles – as well as other native species.
