Strongman-Guiler Conservation Legacy

Additional Information

Through the two-part name, Mr. Strongman chose to recognize an influential primary school teacher, Miss Grace Guiler of Normandale, and his parents.

Strongman – Guiler Nature Reserve is a beautiful site along the Lake Erie shoreline protecting Carolinian forests, deep ravines and impressive bluffs and beaches. The different types of habitats link terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems along Fisher’s Creek, and create a wildlife corridor from the shoreline to areas such as Spooky Hollow Nature Reserve, Fisher’s Glen Conservation Area and Turkey Point Provincial Park.
