Welcome LPBLT Volunteers!

Thank you for your support as an LPBLT volunteer and your dedication to preserving the precious ecosystems of the Long Point watershed. Together, we are protecting wild spaces for future generations.

Below you will find useful resources including the Volunteer Handbook and Volunteer Agreement. If you have any questions please contact one of the LPBLT staff members listed below.

Volunteer handbook and agreement

Whether you are a brand new volunteer, or have been attending volunteer events for years, the handbook is an excellent resource to review before your next volunteer outing. Click the button below to download the handbook for your reference.

To accompany our new handbook, we’ve also developed a new form for all volunteers to sign. We request that all volunteers read and, if comfortable, sign forms and return them to us at development@longpointlandtrust.ca before your next volunteer event. If you forget, don’t worry – we will be bringing forms to all events and volunteer training sessions over the next year to ensure we receive signed forms from all volunteers. We will keep all signed forms on file, so that individual event waivers are no longer required.
