Celebrating Our Supporters: 4th Annual Appreciation Gathering

On Sunday, September 7th supporters of Long Point Basin Land Trust gathered at Long Point Eco-Adventures in the Forestview Pavilion for the 4th Annual Supporter Appreciation Gathering. Guests included volunteers, donors, local community leaders, and Haldimand-Norfolk MPP Bobbi Ann Brady.

MPP Brady brought greetings from the Province, and Executive Director Wendy Cridland shared words of appreciation for volunteers, donors, and contributors of Long Point Basin Land Trust.

During the event, attendees were invited to take part in an activity to share their perspective on the question, “What matters most?”. They placed a leaf on the branch that best represented their response, choosing from the options of land protection, biodiversity and species at risk, climate adaptation, or other.

This feedback will help the Land Trust better understand the priorities of potential supporters in the Basin region and guide future outreach communications.

Thank you to the local businesses who donated prizes and gifts that were distributed to supporters at the event, including: Long Point Eco-Adventures, Burning Kiln Winery, The Cider Keg, The Olde Tyme Deli and Eatery, and Prairie Song Nursery.
